Visits and analytics

When you allow analytics, we record an anonymous visitor ID, sessions, visit times, pages, button interactions, traffic sources, device category, and approximate city, region or country. We do not store your raw IP address in the analytics records. Locations may be affected by VPNs and other privacy tools. An anonymous ID is not a verified person or account.

Analytics activity in our private website dashboard is kept for up to 90 days. Your preference and anonymous visitor ID can be remembered for up to 90 days. A session renews after 30 minutes without activity. You can decline analytics and continue browsing.

With analytics permission, Google Analytics 4 also measures visits, content interactions, booking-link clicks and confirmed form submissions. Google receives browser and network information through its tag and applies its own retention settings and privacy policy. Form answers, names, email addresses and phone numbers are not included in the Google event parameters added by this website. Page URLs sent by our tracking code omit query strings and fragments. Google advertising storage, advertising personalization and Google Signals are disabled in this connection. You can withdraw analytics permission through Privacy choices.

Marketing measurement

When you allow marketing, Meta Pixel measures page views, trip interest, content interactions, and successful signup or inquiry actions. Meta receives browser and network information through its Pixel. Form answers and email addresses are not included in the Pixel event parameters added by this website. Marketing tracking is not loaded before your choice, and Global Privacy Control turns it off.

Meta handles information under its own privacy policy. Browser privacy settings or blockers can prevent events from reaching Meta.

Inquiries and brochures

When you request a custom trip, hosted trip or brochure, we use the details you submit to provide the requested information and follow up with you. Inquiry questionnaires are stored in our private Google Sheets workflow and produce an email alert to our team. Confirmed requests and their contact details are also available in our private website dashboard, hosted on Vercel with private storage.

Brochure requests require your name and email address. You can receive the PDF without joining email marketing. When analytics is allowed, a successful request may be associated with that anonymous website session. Request and contact records are retained for business follow-up; contact us if you want to ask about access, corrections or removal.

Email marketing

The $50 signup form joins our marketing list in Flodesk. Inquiry and brochure forms include a separate, optional email-marketing checkbox. Leaving it unchecked does not prevent an inquiry or brochure request. You can unsubscribe through the link in a marketing email.

Bookings and other services

Bookings are completed on our separate Tourseta booking platform. That platform’s privacy and booking terms apply there. YouTube, Instagram, Google, Flodesk, Meta and other services may apply their own policies when you use their features or follow their links.

Change your choices

You can reopen the controls at any time. Essential functions, including your privacy choice and private dashboard sign-in, remain available when optional tracking is off.
